At Stallions Capital we take pride in being a bespoke investment banker headquartered at Dubai that connects startups to leading Venture Capital Firms across the Middle East and have spoken to 250+ founders.
We pride ourselves in being focused exclusively on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, we work with startups and get them ready for fund raising and hand hold them through the entire fund-raising journey.
Founders at an early stage require a significant amount of hand holding and that is at the core of everything we do. Our focus always is the ‘Founder’, we spend time speaking to founders, discussing the business model, refining the GTM strategy, sharing insights and only when we think that they have got it right do we connect them to prospective Venture Capital Firms from our network of Venture Capital firms focusing on the MENA region.
Our core focus is early-stage funding, and the typical cheque size is in the range of 500k USD to 1 Mn USD.
Beyond funding we have expertise in working on ‘Mergers & Acquisitions’ and have a partnership with a global behemoth that plans to acquire 10 companies across sectors from the MENA region by 2030.
The advise we provide is basis what our partner Venture Capital Firms want from a founder & the startup. We know the investment mandate of each Venture Capital firm and thus we call ourselves as a bespoke investment banker.
Our Founder
Our Founder, Paurush Sonkar comes with close to a decade of experience in the startup space. He has been an early observer & adopter of the startup ecosystem across the MENA region and has been a vocal proponent on why there is no better region globally that the MENA region when it comes to the startup boom & VC ecosystem.
He is a firm believer that the role of Dubai, UAE in the MENA startup ecosystem is key and worthy of recognition.
Paurush has spoken to more than 250+ founders and mentored several startups and is known for adding value across the board to founders. While the core objective at Stallions Capital is to assist founders to raise funds, the service goes far beyond and covers areas such as speaking to the founders, discussing the business model, refining the GTM strategy, sharing insights and more.
Over the last few years, Paurush has setup a strong network with MENA focused Venture Capital firms and what bonds Stallions Capital to these Venture Capital firms is the common mission to support & grow entrepreneurship and ensure that the startup ecosystem across the MENA region flourishes.

At Stallions Capital we are proud to host an annual event titled Start-Up Souq.
Start-Up Souq as the name suggests is a gathering of startup founders and Venture Capital firms where founders get a chance to pitch to VC Firms and showcase their startup. They also have a chance to get firsthand feedback from VC Firms that allows them to refine their offering.
